Jalapeno Poppers Revised!

Preparation Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes Number of Servings: 8-10
Every mouthful is bursting with flavors of medium- hot jalapeno peppers, creamy cheese, smoky bacon and fajita meat.

Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup Chicken Breast Meat for Fajitas, thawed and chopped
4 strips Fully Cooked Bacon Slices, thawed and chopped
10-12 large jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded

Steps

1. Preheat grill on medium-high heat.
2. Mix together the cheeses, chicken and bacon.
3. Divide filling into the jalapeno halves.
4. Grill uncovered for12-15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Tip: Be careful when removing the veins and seeds from the jalapeno peppers since these are the hot burning parts of the peppers. You may want to use rubber gloves.

I can't take any of the credit for this idea. Thanks to a Schwan's employee for giving us a free catalog while trying to solicit business at our house, I have found a few new recipes in the catalog that I am eager to try!

This one makes me hunger the most. A rendition of a favorite treat- Jalapeno poppers (cream cheese filled and with crispy bacon on the top). This recipe adds new flavors and is more filling. Can't wait to try it!
