This is week 3 of my 6 Week Healthy Living Challenge. Please check out the link if you are viewing this for the first time.
Last week I ran 3 times with my 4 year old and husband as we pushed our youngest daughter in her stroller! It was fun :)
As far as eating salads for lunch, it was a success for 5 out of the 7 days :)
Meatless Monday, has been switched this week and last to Meatless Tuesday :)
Below is this week's lunch menu:
(FYI- If I am in a time crunch, or am missing an ingredient, I make due with substitutions. I am looking forward to trying some new salad recipes!)
Week 3
Sun: After Church Family Picnic :)
Monday: BLT Salad (yes, again this week because I loved it so much :)
Tuesday: (Meatless day) House garden salad with chickpeas and raspberry vinaigrette
Wed: Traditional Tuna salad (using low fat mayo) with saltine crackers
Thursday: Chinese Chicken Salad
Friday: Steak Chop Salad
Saturday: Work Picnic :)
Week 3's Exercise Plan:
Monday: jog 1.5 mi
Tues: go on a walk with the girls, Resistance training- Back and Biceps (curls, lat pull down, etc)
Wednesday: off
Thursday: pilates video, resistance- legs (lunges, squats, leg lifts, etc..)
Friday: jog 1.5mi, resistance- chest and triceps (push ups, tricep kick-backs, etc)
