Week 3 Recap:
I worked out 3 days. I'm starting to like my free weights at home more :)
I ate salad for lunch 4 out of the 7 days :)
Meatless day- accomplished :)
Below is this week's lunch menu:
(FYI- If I am in a time crunch, or am missing an ingredient, I make due with substitutions. I am looking forward to trying some new salad recipes!)
Week 4
Sun: After Church Family Dinner :)
Monday: Failed. Yes, the day was meatless, but I did not eat a salad. It was a Snickers bar (oops!). I gave in. I actually didn't take a lunch break at work. I ate the bar at 3p- I was starving. Bad choice. I didn't feel well the rest of the eve, and skipped dinner b/c of an upset belly. ;( Better day tomorrow!
Tuesday: Spinach Chicken salad with blue cheese, pine nuts, cranberries and orange vinaigrette.
Wed: BLT Salad (yes, again - I love this :)
Thursday: The Best Chicken Salad
Friday: Fresh Garden Salad
Saturday: Lunch with my in-laws :)
Week 4's Exercise Plan:
Monday: jog 1.5 mi
Tues: go on a walk with the girls, Resistance training- Back and Biceps (curls, lat pull down, etc)
Wednesday: core training (plank holds, crunches, scissor exercises, etc.)
Thursday: pilates video, resistance- legs (lunges, squats, leg lifts, etc..)
Friday: jog 1.5mi, resistance- chest and triceps (push ups, tricep kick-backs, etc), core training
